Sean Monahan collected his first career hat trick and an assist in the win. The Flames forward has 11 goals and 20 points in 19 games this season.

After winning just two of their first 20 games, the Coyotes have won back-to-back games. Antti Raanta has been between the pipes for both of them. He now has a 3-5-2 record this season.

Kyle Connor got a goal and an assist for the Jets. The 17th overall pick in the 2015 draft now has 10 points in 14 games this season

Like Connor, Mathieu Perreault also contributed a goal and a helper. Perreault has three goals and three assists in seven games.

Will Butcher notched his first career NHL goal in this game. He also added an assist on Brian Gibbons’ tally. Butcher is having a terrific rookie season, as he’s already at one goal and 15 points in 19 games.

Cory Schneider was pulled after giving up five goals on 22 shots on Saturday afternoon. Schneider now has a 7-4-2 record with a 2.87 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage this season.

Connor Hellebuyck keeps rolling for the Jets. He made 34 saves in the win. Hellebuyck still has just one regulation loss in 15 appearances (11-1-2).

Tyler Toffoli was the only player to have a multi-point game (one goal, one assist). He finished the game with a plus-2 rating and six shots on goal.

Tyler Lewis also found the back of the net. He had five shots on goal in 16:08 of ice time. Lewis is up to five goals and three assists in 20 games.

Aaron Ekblad and Keith Yandle were on the ice for three of Los Angeles’ four goals. Both players finished with a minus-3 rating.

Darcy Kuemper stopped all 24 shots he faced against the Panthers. The Kings backup goalie has 4-3-1 record with a 1.92 goals-against-average and a .928 save percentage.

James Reimer allowed three goals on 19 shots. He’s now lost each of his last three contests. Reimer has an ugly 3.70 goals-against-average and a .888 save percentage.

After failing to score in the first 15 games of the season, Sebastian Aho has now scored a goal in three straight games.

Justin Williams also found the back of the net of the ‘Canes. He’s up to three goals and 11 assists in 18 games this season.

Evander Kane picked up Buffalo’s only goal of the game. The winger has scored five goals in his last eight contests. He’s on pace to score 45 goals.

Chad Johnson allowed two goals on 32 shots in the loss. Johnson has now lost each of his last five decisions.

Scott Darling made 24 stops in the victory. He’s now won two of his last three contests. Darling owns a 6-4-4 record so far in 2017-18.

Auston Matthews returned to the lineup on Saturday and he sure made an impact. He finished the night with two goals, a plus-2 rating and three shots on goal in 16:54 of ice time.

Nazem Kadri beat Charlie Lindgren with a perfect shot in the second period to give Toronto a 2-0 lead at the time. Kadri’s up to 10 goals and 18 points in 21 games this season. Those who were expecting him to regress (I was one) are being proven wrong.

Shea Weber finished the night with six penalty minutes and a minus-3 rating in just over 21 minutes of ice time. Weber picked up four minutes in penalties when he went after Kadri for delivering a high hit.

Frederik Andersen stopped 33 shots in the shutout win. Andersen has posted back-to-back shutouts for the Leafs and he’s given up two goals or less in four straight games.

Charlie Lindgren was pulled in the third period after allowing five goals on 27 shots. Antti Niemi’s relief appearance was his first action as a member of the Canadiens.

Anders Lee picked up a pair of goals in the big win over the Lightning. The Islanders forward has now strung together three consecutive multi-point games. He’s up to 11 goals in 19 games.

John Tavares had a solid night at the office,adidas Jake Guentzel jersey, as he scored a goal (empty-netter) and two assists. He registered the primary assists on Lee’s first goal and Andrew Ladd’s first-period tally. The Isles captain has 14 goals and 22 points in 19 contests.

Yanni Gourde scored two of Tampa’s three goals. The Lightning forward has quietly put up six goals and 14 points in 20 games this season.

The loss on Saturday was just the second in regulation for Andrei Vasilevskiy, who now owns a 14-2-1 record. That’s still pretty impressive considering we’re well into the second month of 2017-18.

Thomas Greiss was able to keep the Lightning off the scoresheet for over 40 minutes, his team was able to come away with the victory. He has a 6-2-2 record with a 3.33 goals-against-average and a .904 save percentage. Gustav Forsling opened the scoring with a power play goal at 12:32 mark of the first period. Forsling has two goals and five assists in 17 contests.

Artem Anisimov’s power play goal allowed him to officially hit double digits in 2017-18. The ‘Hawks forward has 10 goals and two assists in 20 games. Five of those 10 goals have come in his last three outings.

Matt Hunwick scored the game-tying goal in the third period while his team was shorthanded. He’s found the back of the net twice in his last three games.

Corey Crawford stopped 35 shots in the win over the defending Stanley Cup champions. Crawford has now won back-to-back games.

Matt Murray gave up two goals on 38 shots, but he managed to turn aside all 25 shots he faced at even-strength. Murray has an 11-5-1 record with a 2.81 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage.

T.J. Oshie scored the game’s first goal at the 9:42 mark of the opening period (on the power play). He also helped set up Dmitry Orlov’s goal just over three minutes later. Oshie has 10 goals and 17 points in 21 games.

Evgeny Kuznetsov also notched a goal and an assist in this one. The Russian center has now picked up a point in three consecutive games. Kuznetsov has five goals and 23 points in 21 contests.

Nino Niederreiter was the only Wild player to beat Braden Holtby on Saturday night. Niederreiter has five goals this season,adidas Joe Pavelski jersey, and all three have come in the last three games.

Alex Stalock got a rare start on Saturday night. He made 40 saves on the night, but it still wasn’t enough to get the job done. Stalock has a 1-2-1 record with a 2.56 goals-against-average and a .927 save percentage.

Holtby gave up the goal to Niederreiter at the 12:02 mark of the first period, but he was perfect the rest of the way. He’s now been victorious in seven of his last eight decisions.

Craig Smith had a two-point night in the win, as he scored a power play goal with 35 seconds left in the first period before assisting on Anthony Bitetto’s first goal of the season.

P.K. Subban registered two assists against the Avalanche. He grabbed the primary assists on goals by Smith and Viktor Arvidsson. The Preds blue liner has four goals and 10 assists in 19 games.

Andrei Mironov picked up a goal and an assist for Colorado. The Avs defenseman has accumulated three points in seven contests in 2017-18.

Pekka Rinne made 29 saves in what proved to be his fifth win in six games. He improved his record to 10-3-2 in the process.

It was another rocky outing for Semyon Varlamov, who gave up five goals on 24 shots. He has a 7-4-1 record with a 3.23 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage.

Brayden Schenn scored the game-winning goal in the extra frame for the Blues. His point streak has now hit a remarkable seven games. He has eight goals and 26 points in his first 21 games with St. Louis.

Anders Nilsson gave up four goals on 31 shots in the loss to the Blues. It’s the Canucks goalies first loss since Oct. 19.

Jake DeBrusk was the only player to have a multi-point game in this one, as he recorded a goal and an assist in the win. The 21-year-old now has nine points in 18 games with Boston in 2017-18.

Timo Meier was the only Shark to score. He actually opened the scoring just 4:50 into the game, but that’s all the offense they could muster. Meier has two goals and two assists in 17 games.

The Bruins have an interesting dilemma on their hands because Anton Khudobin won again tonight. This was his second consecutive start head of Tuukka Rask. It’ll be interesting to see if Khudobin gets a third straight game. He made 36 saves on Saturday night.

Sharks backup goalie Aaron Dell allowed three goals on 20 shots. He now has a 2-3-0 record with a 2.14 goals-against-average and a .923 save percentage.
